Prepare for a confident, empowered, and informed birth experience with this unique, 8-hour prenatal course held over four Saturday mornings (TBD). Each class is designed to help you navigate pregnancy and birth with ease, combining evidence based education with the beauty of prenatal and restorative yoga providing you with tools to feel grounded and ready for your birthing journey.
Course Overview:
- Duration: 4 Saturday mornings, 10 AM – 12 PM (2 hours per class, total of 8 hours)
- Format: Interactive, discussion-based learning with yoga, breathwork, movement, and relaxation
- Provided: Yoga mats, props, weighted babies, water, snacks, and a workbook
- Bring: Just yourself, and a partner if you'd like!
Each class will begin with gentle yoga and breathwork to calm the nervous system and rest the mind and body. We’ll then dive into an interactive learning experience covering a wide range of essential birth topics. Every session concludes with a mini game with prizes, plus time for questions and discussion. You will leave feeling more connected to your body, your baby, and your intuition, fully equipped to navigate your pregnancy and birth with confidence.

- The Birth Process: What to expect during labor, birth waves, and the birthing time
- Navigating Birth Settings: Hospital vs. birth center vs. home birth – what to expect in each environment
- The Role of Birth Partners: How to support each other through labor, including comfort measures and communication
- Pain Management & Comfort Measures: The benefits and risks of interventions, aromatherapy, hydrotherapy, and labor positions
- Movement & Yoga for Birth: Learn specific asanas, breathing techniques, and how to use props (like an exercise ball) to support labor and birth
- Nervous System Regulation: How to activate your parasympathetic nervous system for relaxation during labor
- Informed Decision-Making: Understanding the BRAINS acronym for making empowered choices in your birth
- Hypnobirthing Techniques: How to create and use your “Bubble of Peace” during labor

- A short break is included each hour, with snacks, water, and plenty of time for discussion.
