Nurturing Childbirth Education: A Holistic Approach to Birth

Designed for my birth support families, this intimate childbirth education class designed to nurture and empower expectant parents in a supportive, community-centered environment. This course combines evidence-based information with holistic wellness practices to help you feel informed, confident, and connected as you approach your birth. This engaging, interactive course is designed for a holistic experience for expecting families seeking a deeper understanding of anatomy and the birth process, as well as breathing tools, comfort measures, and mental prep during pregnancy, birth, and the immediate postpartum period. This comprehensive 3 hour course is divided into two 1.5hr sessions, ensuring a balance of information, hands-on practice, and meaningful discussions.

What to Expect:

• Holistic Wellness Approach: Learn to trust your body’s natural wisdom with a balanced, whole-person approach to birth. Our class focuses on nurturing both body and mind, helping you prepare for labor in a way that feels grounded and empowering.

• Breathwork & Relaxation Techniques: Discover effective breathing exercises and relaxation methods to help you stay calm, centered, and focused throughout your birth. These techniques can ease discomfort, reduce stress, and promote a more peaceful labor experience.

• Movement & Comfort Measures: Explore movement techniques and positions that encourage optimal fetal positioning, reduce pain, and help labor progress naturally. We’ll also teach you hands-on comfort measures that you and your partner can use during labor.

• Evidence-Based Education: Feel empowered with up-to-date, evidence-based information about pregnancy, labor, and postpartum care. Understand your options and gain insight into the physiology of birth so you can make informed decisions that align with your values and preferences.

• Herbs for Healing Postpartum: Learn how herbs and natural remedies can support your healing after birth. From restorative teas to soothing baths, we’ll explore simple, effective ways to nourish and care for your body during the postpartum period.

• 1 on 1 or Small Intimate Class for Community: With a focus on creating connection, this class is designed to foster a sense of community among expectant parents. The small class size allows for personalized attention and deeper engagement, so you can build meaningful connections with others as you prepare for birth.

Who Should Attend: This course is ideal for my birth doula supported families looking for a deeper dive into the birth process that we cannot fully cover during prenatal visits.
